——how引导的特殊疑问句及其回答

how除了用来询问方式、方法，还有其他用法，归纳如下： （1）how 用于彼此问候、打招呼、询问身体状况等。

例：①How do you do? 你好吗?

①--How are you? 你好吗? --I’m fine, thank you! 我很好，谢谢你!

（2）how old用来询问年龄。

例：How old is your sister? 你妹妹多大了?

（3）how about 用来征询别人的看法及意见，意为“......怎么样”。

例：How about this book, Mr.Wang? 王先生，这本书怎么样? （4）how long 用来询问物体的长度及时间的长短。

例：①--How long is the river? 这条河多长? --20 kilometers. 20千米。

①--How long have you studied English? 你学英语多长时间了? --About 3 years. 大约三年了。

（5）how far 用来询问路程的长短或距离的远近。

例：How far is it from your home to school? 从你家到学校多远? （6）how often 对频率进行提问。

例：--How often do you water the flowers? 你多久浇一次花?

--Once a week. 一周一次。

（7）how soon 用来询问时间多久。

例：--How soon will you go to Shanghai? 你多久后去上海?

--In a week. 一周后。

（8）how many 用来询问可数名词的数量。

例：How many books are there in the library? 图书馆里有多少本书? （9）how much 用来询问不可数名词的数量或询问价钱。

例：①--How much water is there in the glass? 杯子里有多少水?

--Only a little. 只有一点儿了。 ①--How much is this dress? 这条裙子多少钱? --80 yuan. 80元。
