How hard someone works for something is a function of three things:
- how much the person wants something;
- how much the person believes that by working they’ll get that something;
- how much the person enjoys or hates the work.
努力的程度跟个人渴望得到某事的决心和对工作带来报酬的信心成正比，跟对工作的厌恶之情成反比

You’re not lazy. You just haven’t found anything you want badly enough that you enjoy working on, or you don’t believe your hard work will pay off…归根结底是你没有找到自己的热情所在，或者钱不够多。
