Whatever we do or whatever is done to us, it is always constructive to adopt an optimistic attitude. As the saying goes, smile and the world smiles with you, weep and you weep alone. If you let yourself down, no one can pull you out and the situation could only go from bad to worse. But as long as you have an optimistic state of mind, you can have the situation under your control and therefore be more hopeful. Last but not least, God help those who help themselves. We should first be optimistic and hopeful can we help ourselves. And then you can get help from others. Once you get through the bad situation, hope will eventually be increased.

in life, many people are easy to feel frustrated by meeting a bit of setback. as far as i am concerned, we need to learn to keep positive and optimistic when facing difficulties so that we have more power to keep and pursue our dreams.

we should see the bright side while we are in the bad situation, which make us ensure everything is possible, and everything will get better. then our mood will not be effected by the predicament。

in a world, to be a positive person is not that difficult, since we can master our mind, we should choose a positive over passive. then life will be better.

Our university is a famous academic center. The teaching staff are all learned professors. Many of them are world-wide known for their wide range of knowledge and charming personality. I respect my teachers! I admire my teachers! I love my teachers! Various activities are carried here. They not only bring me happiness but also improve myself. I meet with a lot of classmates and make a large number of friends. When I feel upset, the will give me a hand; when I am happy, I will share with them. I, a mere toddler at the time, rode on the bar in front of him. It didnt matter where we were going as long as we were going there together.

Not long after that, my family moved to Hainan. Relying on my parents, courage and persistence, they started their own business. As a result, we were soon able to replace the bike with a new car. So we could travel further on our excursions. Our familys happy laughter filled the car as we traveled to many distant locations in China. Many years have gone by since those happy days, but were still as close as ever.

Recently, the airplane has become our mode of transportation as we venture beyond the confines of China to see the world. We were able to experience firsthand the uniqueness of Amsterdam, the romance of Paris, and the elegance of Vienna. But yet, such fantastic sites were nothing compared to the love of our family.

Time goes by swiftly, and everything is changing all the time.Yet the love existing in my family always remains. It is the source of our happiness; It,s the source of all of our ideals: confidence, courage, and faith. But it goes so much deeper than that; it warms our very hearts. So I will acclaim for the eternal and awesome love in my family and let it go on forever!

接下来我就英语教学方面的情况跟大家谈一谈

为了适应大环境，本学期的英语教材更换了，大家都知道换成了牛津小学英语，我们五年级用的是5a，这套教材应该是三年级开始从3a逐步学起的，由于种种原因，当时我们学的是新标准英语，那也就是说我们过去3a到4b的四册内容都没学过，而一下子要孩子接触5a，而且拒有关专家讲，从4b到5a的跨度非常大，是所有牛津小学英语中册与册之间跨度最大的，书中绝大多数都是长句子，语法知识也很多，而且以前的教材对于写的要求也不高，考查的力度也不大，鉴于以上这些情况，因此本次期中考试的成绩整体都不理想，值得高兴的是我们班的浦睿同学考了全年级英语最高分97分。孩子们第一次接触这样的教材，这样的题型，这次试卷又有些偏，因为我们以前的教材只有我们学校用，所以试卷都是老师自己出，而且也没有范围，因此，看起来普遍成绩都很好。其实这次考试不太理想也许是件好事，一方面可以对孩子有点触动，另一方面也可以使我们了解到新教材与就教材之间的差异，而更好地为以后的教学服务。这次的考试包括以后的月考，期中期末考都不再是老师自己出卷了，而且题型不是一成不变的，英语这门学科和语数不一样的地方在于它的灵活多变性，它的题型可以千变万化，但它的变化总是建立在一个不变的基础上的，那就是这些基础知识：单词，短语，句型。一旦基础的东西掌握了，不管它怎么变，万变不离其宗。

曾经有家长打电话问我他孩子的英语基础很差怎么办，我的回答很简单，“只要他跟着我的步子走，按照我的要求做，问题不大！”我的回答很简单，可真的做起来不那么容易哦！有些家长就深深地体会到英语这个学科只要孩子用心，学习效果是很明显的，只要他背了记了，效果就出来了，可能由于有些家长还没有意识到英语在考试中的地位而对这一学科有所忽略，现在，我想告诉各位，小升初的考试，好一些的中学，比如：××中学，××中学等都要求考英语，而且扬中是要把英语分数纳入总分计算的，所以，目前的形势决定了英语学科的重要性，请各位家长务必重视英语这一学科，你们思想上重视了，无形中也给孩子以熏陶，重视与不重视肯定是完全不同的，在学校肯定是抓得很紧，中午休息时间，晚自习前后甚至早晨全都用来给孩子补课。关键是孩子周末放假在家的两天有没有充分利用起来，我们每周的回家作业上都会有一项复习的内容，请家长无比抽出一点点时间来监督他这一任务的完成情况，你们可以看家校联系册，然后来报单词，短语的中文让孩子写英文，对照书来检查掌握情况，这样周一的复习听写才能有好的效果，单元测验才能取得好成绩。否则，他们两天时间就白白浪费掉了，你们还可以让他跟着磁带读课文，课文熟练了，很多题目就自然而然会做了，多读还可以培养他的语感，还请家长多多配合。说了这么多，我只有目的，也是各位家长所想的：我们配合好，把他们的成绩逐步提高上去。谢谢各位的合作！谢谢大家！

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. Today I would like to begin with a story.

Yes, thats a memorable scene in one of my favorite movies, called Gorillas in the Mist, based on a true story of Mrs. Dian Fossey, who spent most of bet lifetime in Rwanda to protect the ecoenvironment there until the very end of her life.

To me, the movie not only presents an unforgettable scene but also acts as a 6) timeless reminder that we should not develop the tourist industry at the cost of our ecoenvironment.

第三把金钥匙就是专心。大家肯定都有这种感受把，当你专心做一件事情时，把许多游思、妄想都杜绝了，省却无限闲烦闷。曾国藩说过：坐这山，望那山，一事无成。庄子也说过：主一无适，便是敬。用现在的话讲，凡做一件事，将全副精力集中到一件事上，一点也不旁骛，便是敬。很多同学在做一件事的时候，往往会被另一件事情所吸引，有时学习也是这样，上课听着听着就神游了，作业写着写着就分心了，为什么会产生这种状况呢?因为不专心。庄子说过：用志不分，乃凝于神。其实我们在学习时，只要心思专一而不分散，精神便会集中起来，自然也就能做到专心了。

最后一把金钥匙就是恒心。水滴石穿大家都应该听说过吧?力量微不足道的小水滴夜以继日地滴在大石头的同一个地方，终于把石头滴穿了;美国的埃尔斯金在哥伦比亚大学教书时，像兼职从事创作，于是他忙里偷闲，每天挤出5分钟写作100字或短短的几行，一个星期下来，竟完成了数十篇稿子。虽然水滴和短短的几行字确实很渺小，但经过时间的精心雕琢，小水滴也能拥有摧毁岩石的力量，短短的几行字也能谱写出动人的文章。学习也是如此，只要每天肯坚持不懈地去努力，涓涓流水也终将变成汪洋万顷的大海，所学的只会死也会像滚雪球一样越来越多。这样，你难道不觉得成功之门已经为你而开了吗?

其次，很感谢我们的老师，他们不仅有很好的教学方法，循循善诱，敬业负责，在学习方面给我们全面的指导，而且对我们的生活和思想状况也十分关心，会时常跟我们谈心，询问生活与学习状况。虽然已经历两年多的大学生活，但我们仍有许多迷惘的时候，他们的几句指引无疑是我们最好的向导。所以，有任何困惑，及时同老师探讨，不仅可以很快找到出口，而且是我们积累经验的好机会。接下来，我想谈谈我学习的一点心得。我的专业，很多课程对于并不擅长理工科的我来说，都很有难度。我想，面对困难，谁都有想要退缩的时候。在此跟大家分享一句我一直用来勉励自己的话：“你无法要求你所处的环境适应你，那么你就要学会很好地适应你所处的环境。”既然我选择了这条路，那么我就选择踏实地走好每一步。不管对于基础理论的学习，还是专业知识的实践。我相信勤能补拙，工夫不负有心人。

学习，本身也是对学习方法的探索和完善过程。就我自身而言，我认为自学是大学学习非常重要的环节。可以毫不夸张地说，自学在大学学习中占据了最大的比重。因为老师授课时间有限，课程容量很大。所以为了配合老师的节奏，课前预习是必需的。还有就是多动手，多尝试。基础课程，勤记笔记，多做练习，所谓熟能生巧。专业课程，常思考，多动手，勤操作。一步一个脚印地走下去才能真正掌握一门技能。所有的课程都是环环相扣，连接紧密的，一个环节空缺，整个学习链条就无法正常运转。

爱因斯坦说过一句话：“人的差异在于业余时间。”大学里的空闲时间是很多的，除却学习，放松是必要的，但过度放松会让人失去自我。所以，如何使得一寸光阴等于一寸生命，无疑最值得我们思考并付诸行动。

说完学习，我想再谈谈我的工作。我担任生活委员的职务已经两年多，同时担任系分团委组织部长也快一年了，有很多地方还存在不足，但在老师、学长、其他学生干部、同学们的帮助下，我积累了很多宝贵的人生经验。在此想跟一些犹豫在工作与学习之间的同学说一句，在大学里，成绩优异并不能代表一切，工作能力、竞争能力、才华特长以及待人处世的技巧都是评断一个人的参照。积极地去尝试，你只需要付出一些业余时间而已，收获的却是受益一生的财富。我个人的感觉是，在过去的两年中，我成长很快，处理问题的经验日益丰富，思想比从前更为成熟，对待一些问题的忍耐程度也提高很多。同时，“部长”这个职位无形中成为我的压力和动力。我会时常要求自己的言行举止能符合一个部长的标准。这对我是最好也最有效的监督。

“先做一个人，再做一个有学问的人。”无论学识多少，能力如何，我们首先应该做一个正直的人。

同学们，人生只有一条路是不能拒绝的，那就是成长。现在，荣誉称号和奖学金都已经是过去时了，面对自身的很多不足，等待我们的是更多的挑战和不断的成长！让我们一起脚踏实地、谦虚谨慎地做人，不懈奋斗，百尺竿头，更进一步！

Recently, ther is a heated debate in our society. The college students are the beneficiaries of a rare privilege, who receive exceptional education at extraordinary places. But will we be able to face the challenge and support ourselves against all odds? Will we be able to better the lives of others? Will we be able to accept the responsibility of building the future of our country?

The cynics say the college students are the pampered lost generation, which would cringe at the slightest discomfort. But the cynics are wrong. The college students I see are eagerly learning about how to live independently. We help each other clean the dormitory, go shopping and bargain together, and take part time jobs to supplement our pocket money.

The cynics say we care for nothing other than grades; and we neglect the need for character cultivation. But again, the cynics are wrong. We care deeply for each other, we cherish freedom, we treasure justice, and we seek truth. Last week, thousands of my fellow students had their blood type tested in order to make a contribution for the children who suffer from blood cancer.

As college students, we are adolescents at the critical turning point in our lives. We all face a fundamental choice: cynicism or faith, each will profoundly impact our future, or even the future of our country. I believe in all my fellow classmates. Though we are still inexperienced and even a little bit childish. I believe that we have the courage and faith to meet any challenge and take on our responsibilities. We are preparing to assume new responsibilities and tasks, and to use the education we have received to make our world a better place. I believe in our future.

THE first time I saw Bao was in 20__, the year when Thomas and Uber Cup was held. At that time he was playing against Li zongwei, who is also a good player from Malaysia. Bao beat him. To tell the truth, at first the reason why I liked him was just because I thought he was pretty._(maybe it is not a suitable word, but I think no better word can describe him, he is really pretty!) From that time, I have focused on him. Then gradually, I found that he not only has good appearance, but also has a talent for badminton.

He is very tall, about 1.90 meters. He is the tallest one among all the players in the Chinese Badminton Team. In 20__, he is chosen as the flag holder stands for China in the opening ceremony in the 15th Asian Games held in Doha. It was the first time that the badminton players were chosen to take over the special task, before which time, it belonged to the basketball players. It was a great honor. And it also proved that Bao was an excellent athlete. We are all proud of him.

He began to play badminton when he was at primary school. In 20__, he won his first good medal, which was significant to him, in Guangzhou. Because of that, he entered the Chinese Badminton Team. As he is as old as Lin dan, who is the top one in the world, he is always put into a situation which is not good to him. He seldom beats Lin dan, so he gained a name which is called’千年老二’. In fact, his techniques are comprehensive, but he is lack of passion, the desire to win is not so strong. So he always has misplays. Due to this, he seldom wins the gold medal. I think this is related to his character. He is easygoing and couth; he looks as if he will never get angry with anybody. So this affects him while he is playing badminton. In a period of time, critical voice has come towards him. He is under great pressure. He was not in the best state. But recently he cheers up again. Several days ago, the Chinese Badminton Championship 20__ was held in Guangzhou. I went to see him on Saturday. I was very excited, and I shouted loudly, hoping he could hear me. There is no doubt that he won the game. Before he went away, he waved hand to us, how excited I was at that time! The next day, he beat Li zongwei again and he won the man’s single gold medal. All of us are very happy. After 7 years, which could be a long time for an athlete, he proved himself again in Guangzhou, which is considered as his lucky place.

I think this will be the energy of his advancing. And I hope he can keep this fighting will and win the gold medal in the 29th Olympic Games held in Beijing!

I’m very honored to stand here and give you a short speech! To begin with ,I want to ask a question .Does everybody dream a good dream last night? Actually ,today I want to talk about dream with you. Of course, What I want to talk is not a dream you have last night,but a dream—— about life.

Everyone has dreams about life, different dreams at different life stage,and we need dreams to support us. Dreams are like the stars we never reach in the sky,but like most mariners,we can chart our course by them. With the dream,we have a direction,with a direction, we were no longer confused.With the dream, there is hope,With hope, we have the strength to fight.

I have a dream: To be a doctor.，because doctor may relieve the pain of patients. May let the human change the health. At the same time, I believed that, those who help others may be able to obtain joyfully. Therefore, I hoped in the near future ,I might be a doctor.

But I know，life is tough,and there are always ups and downs, maybe we fail in the way to our aims,and we may feel depressed ,whenever at this time, the dream in our heart can always comfort us, encourage us ,and support us to move ahead .

Young!Fortunately, I am young now. Just due to it, I know that nothing is impossible.I firmly believe that nothing can stand in my way. If I cant realize my dream,it result from that I havent work harder enough and I wont find other excuses. If no people believe you, you can make it to prove that you are right. If you think the god havent blessed you and there is no truth here, you can become the god and create the truth.

My breath swallows the sky and make the yellow river overflow, my sword is famous in Kyushu and it can collapse the five sacred mountains. At some time in the past I also had am bitious words and I had some achievements. Each achievement results from my hard work. I always believe that If you want to have more achievements than others, you must work harder. In some extent, the dream is the hope. If you can insist on doing something, the victory will come.

Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. Hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, life is a barren field frozen with snow. So my dear friends, think of your old and maybe dead dreams. Whatever it is, pick it up and make it alive from today. Lets--- move ----out!

when i was seven, i started learning English. i played games and sang English songs with other children. sometimes, i watched English cartoons. its funny. then i discovered the beauty of the language, and began my colorful dream in the English world.

i hope i can travel around the world someday. i want to go to america to visit washington, because my cousin is over there. of course, i want to go to london too, because england is where English language developed. if i can ride my bike in cambridge university, i will be very happy.

i hope i can speak English with everyone in the world. also ill introduce china to them, such as the great wall, and the gardens in suzhou. i will teaching people of the world about the beautiful language of our country.

i like the English language. to learn English is wonderful. i once wanted to be an English teacher . i also like chinese literature. when i was really young, i was able to remember lots of poems. i also wanted to be a teacher of chinese. now i think that both of my dreams can come true: i will be able to use English to teach foreign friends chinese and share chinese culture with them. so that more and more people will be able to get to know the 5000 years history culture, and the prosperity of our great china.
